Jennifer Salinas
OTR, Occupational Therapy Clinical Excellence Leader
A graduate of the University of Texas Pan American, Jennifer’s areas of clinical expertise are in Sensory Integration, Neuro-Developmental Treatment, and Autism. She has received extensive specialized training in all of those areas in addition to the use of Therapeutic Listening and Kinesiotaping. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and crafting using a Cricut machine when away from the office.
Sandra Leah Canales
OTR/L
A graduate of University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, Sandra focuses on behavioral roadblocks to developmental progress through using targeted play and functional activities. She loves working with children with Down’s Syndrome and Autism as well as those with Cerebral Palsy. Sandra spends time with her family at the beach or ranch, runs, and works out in her free time.
Maria Fonseca
OTR/L
Maria is a recent graduate of University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and is Mental Health First Aid Certified. She completed her clinical practicum with Milestones as a Level 2 graduate student and we couldn’t wait to hire her! Maria loves working on sensory processing and ADL modifications and is looking forward to upcoming NDT training. In her off time, she enjoys playing with her cats and watching Korean dramas.
Iliana Cavazos
OTR
As a graduate of University of Texas Pan American, Iliana utilizes her many years of OT experience to develop functional skills in her favorite patients with developmental delays. Using her advanced training in handling/positioning, myofascial release and kinesiotape, she provides an eclectic approach to her treatment. Iliana spends her down time dancing, crafting, and enjoying photography.
Fernanda Cortes
OTD, OTR
A graduate of University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, Fernanda is NICU trained. In her down time, she enjoys biking, reading, hiking, and traveling.
Cristelle Miana
OTR
A graduate of University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, Cristelle is certified in Interactive Metronome and uses this tool as an adjunct to her varied treatment approach. Her winning smile and kindness is reflected in her therapy sessions; she enjoys the challenges in ‘solving the puzzle’ of choosing the more effective plan to make positive gains. When not at work, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Flavio I. Jurado
LOT
Flavio loves working with a variety of children and focuses on his extra training in sensory processing and ocular motor issues. He often assists team members in problem-solving ideas to enhance treatments. A graduate of University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, Flavio enjoys fishing in his down time.
Cynthya J. Cantu
OTR, C/NDT
A graduate of Texas Tech University, Cynthya is certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment allowing a solid clinical reasoning process to work with her patients with developmental delays. Her calm, quiet demeanor encourages her patients to easily develop a therapeutic bond to enhance functional outcomes during treatment. As a busy mom, when not at work, she enjoys reading, painting, biking, and outdoor activities.
Trudi Pacheco
LOT
As one of Milestones’ most experienced OT’s, Trudi uses her advanced training to develop unique treatment plants. A graduate of University of Texas Medical Branch, Trudi holds certifications in SIPT, Therapeutic Listening, Relationship Development Training, PECS, The Ready Approach, Astronaut Training, Interactive Metronome, Brain Gym, Low Vision, and Handwriting without Tears. Her favorite patients are those with sensory processing issues and low vision. In her down time, she enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and running.
Brianna Reyna
OTD, OTR
A graduate of University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, Brianna loves to development fun but functional treatment ideas that keep her patients engaged in therapy. She often works with patients experiencing developmental delays. Brianna spends her free time running, attending concerts, and visiting Disney.
Rosa Fany Escobedo
OTR
A graduate of University of Texas Pan American, Rosa is certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment, Sensory Integration, Therapeutic Listening, and Interactive Metronome. Her clinical skills, as one of our senior OT’s, are valued by the kids which she treats. Rosa frequently spends time developing intricate home programs so that therapeutic gains can be continued when away from the clinic. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, gardening, and watching movies.
Cynthia Ponce
OTR
A graduate of the University of Texas Pan American, Cynthia specializes in infant development, sensory integration, executive function, and Neuro-Developmental Treatment. She holds certifications in Interactive Metronome and Kinesiotaping. Additionally, she has received training in CranioSacral Therapy, Integrated Listening Systems, Therapeutic Listening, Sensory Integration, and Astronaut Training. She is also skilled in managing visual impairment deficits. Outside of work, she enjoys motherhood.
Jennifer Griffith
OTR, C/NDT, Milestones Co-Owner
Jennifer’s experience as an OT has spanned a variety of settings from ECI, schools, outpatient and home-based care. A graduate of University of Texas Medical Branch, she is SIPT Certified, and specializes in several sound-based intervention programs such as Interactive Metronome, Integrated Listening Systems, Therapeutic Listening, Rhythmic Entrainment Intervention. Her direct patient care has evolved over the years, and she spends time mentoring staff and reviewing complex cases as requested. When not at work, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her family, reading, and cooking.
Conchita “Connie” Rivas

A graduate of University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, Connie is one of our newest team members who is quickly developing her clinical skills to meet the needs of her patients. She enjoys spending her time away from Milestones with family doing outdoor activities, reading, and traveling.
Lianna Alvarez
OTR
As a certified Neuro-developmental Practitioner, Lianna loves working with children with Cerebral Palsy, Brachial Plexus Injuries and various developmental delays. She is also credentialed in use of Kinesiotape and the treatment of Brachial Plexus Injuries. Her use of play during her sessions offers functional changes in those with which she works.
Ines Varela
OTR, C/NDT
A graduate of Texas Woman’s University, Ines uses her extra training in Neuro-Developmental Treatment and as a neuro-specialist to treat her favorite types of patients with neurological issues. Using CMIT as well as NMES to address movement and development in her patients. When not at Milestones, she enjoys spending time with her family doing fun activities such as camping, gardening, hiking and planning trips.
Evangelina "Vangie" Garza
OTR
As a graduate of the University of Texas Pan American, Evangelina uses her certification in Neuro-Developmental Treatment to treat patients with all abilities. In addition, her advanced training in Therasuit, Therapeutic Listening, Interactive Metronome and sensory processing facilitates diverse treatment ideas. She enjoys working with different kids with varied issues to keep her challenged in her clinical processes. When not at Milestones, she loves family time spent going for walks, and watching movies.
Elizabeth Villareal

As a graduate of University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, Elizabeth enjoys treating a wide variety of children. She spends time away from Milestones wither her family, taking a long run and sipping her favorite coffee drinks.
Danielle Mendez
COTA/L
As a graduate of South Texas College, Danielle enjoys working with patients diagnosed with Autism, aiming towards gaining new skills and meeting developmental milestones. Outside of work she spends time with friends and family along with her Dachshund as well as exercising at gym.
Bruno Parada Granados
OTR
Bruno loves working with kids with developmental delays who have strong potential to make positive changes. He has a diverse interest and knowledge-base to develop comprehensive treatment plans for this population including sensory integration and early intervention, behavioral interventions for Autism, play therapy and neuro-developmental techniques. Working with the family as part of the team to provide a supportive environment is his favorite part of being an OT.
Jennifer Jones
COTA
As an experienced COTA, Jennifer has specialized training in sensory processing and neuro-developmental conditions such as Autism. She has invested time in educating herself in adjunct techniques such as Therapeutic Listening, Integrated Listening Systems, The Alert Program and Zones of Regulation to impact her invention with her favorite kids with sensory processing issues. She has also given back to her profession of OT by developing the sensory gym for Regis University OT Doctoral Program.
ReAnna McNames
COTA
In addition to being an experienced therapist, ReAnna is a lactation counselor which is a perfect combination of OT with infant feeding. She has worked in a variety of settings providing holistic care to children and families. She enjoys working with younger children to enhance functional development in all environments. Watching children reach important milestones is her favorite part of being a therapist.
Dickson Rodriguez,
PhD, OTR, MA-VRT
In addition to being a highly skilled OT, Dickson is also a Visual Rehabilitation Teacher and enjoys the challenge of training individuals with visual deficits to move in, interact with and foster independence within their own daily world. He loves working with premature babies and those patients with visual issues. His keen ability to adapt equipment and objects, using both high- and low-tech modifications, shows his creative and compensatory strategies in his treatment planning. His unique approach to functional care makes him a very valuable part of our team.
